Location was less than 15 min walk from city centre, hotel staff was very friendly and extremely helpful and the room was very clean. I would definitely come back.

Great location right in Cork but yet the area was quite at night. A couple blocks from the nightlife if that is what you are into but yet far enough away. Beautful river behind it you can sit outside on a little patio and we had breakfast in the back dining room where you are able to see and hear the water flowing by. Staff could not have been more welcoming. We highly recommend staying here.

Stayed at Shandon Bells B&B; for four nights in September, 2010 and loved it. The room was crispy clean, the breakfast was scrumptious, my dietary requirements welcomed, and the staff helped with all my enquiries beyond the call of duty. The B&B; is within a 10min walk to the city centre and it has a small, intimate back garden with access to the river. Moreover, it is just a 2min walk from the University College Cork campus - great place for those interested in University Open Days and conferences. Highly recommended.

The location is great, close to shops, Staff very nice, the rooms are clean, and it is very nicely decorated, lovely stain glass windows, a warm feel about the place.

I think the staff are very friendly and helpful. I like the internet availability 24/07. I also like the fact that one can prepare oneself a decent meal - I really enjoyed my stay and realised real value for my money. I also like the fact that you can exercise. The B& B is located near the city centre. I managed to walk to/from the BB to the city every day and my Doctor is amazed by the improvement in my health.
